Andrew Douglass Jeffers, age 49, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at his home in Springdale, Pennsylvania, surrounded by those he loved most. Born on July 6, 1976, Andrew grew up in Troy, Ohio and he later made his home in Springdale, PA, where he lived a life grounded in faith, family, and service to his community. Andrew was a devoted Christian, he was a member of Real Life Church in Arnold, where he served as a Deacon for ten years. His commitment to his church was steady and humble, marked by quiet leadership, compassion for others, and a willingness to serve wherever he was needed. Andrew worked as a custodian for the Allegheny Valley School District, a role he carried out with pride and diligence. He believed deeply in honest work and took satisfaction in caring for the spaces where others learned and grew. Outside of work and church, Andrew found joy in the outdoors. He loved archery, rifle hunting, and fishing-activities that would include his father in-law, Richard Montgomery. He was also a devoted Pittsburgh Penguins fan, always eager to cheer on his team. Andrew had a special love for his dogs, who brought him daily companionship, joy, and laughter. Above all else, Andrew's greatest joy was his family. He was a deeply loving and devoted husband who cherished his beloved wife, Tammy Jeffers, with his whole heart. Their marriage was rooted in faith, love, and unwavering commitment. Tammy was his best friend, his confidant, and his greatest blessing, and Andrew made sure she knew every day how profoundly she was loved. Andrew was a proud and devoted father to Priscilla Murphy, whom he loved dearly and supported with steady strength and compassion. He also shared a special bond with his son-in-law, Brandon Murphy. Andrew is survived by his wife, Tammy Jeffers; his mother, Connie Pence; his daughter, Priscilla Murphy; and his son-in-law, Brandon Murphy. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jack Pence. Andrew will be remembered for his gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and the deep, abiding love he had for his wife, family, and pets.
