Rosemary Skovran Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rosemary Skovran a long time resident of the Northside (specifically Troy Hill & Springhill areas), also family lived on Queen, Phineas, and Itin Streets. Rosemary had a few jobs and retired from one with a small pension. She and many members of her family belonged to St. Mary Parish on the Northside, now the Priory Grand Hall and the Priory Hotel. This was once was monastery/convent for nuns and priests and clergy. Rosemary had two Aunts that were Benedictine Nuns of faith, so faith ran strong in her family and herself. Many times, Rosemary expressed in conversation: "Many, many, more prayers for family, friends, and our world. Rosemary was also active in her community, and through her union (employment), belonged to an organization who kept her and members abreast of what was happening locally and nationally. Rosemary would connect and communicated with local congressman and even President of USA! She encouraged others to do so also, so congress would know what their constituents thought and what may need changed. Rosemary was so delighted when she wrote President Obama and she received a letter back from him (staff). Rosemary is predeceased by her four siblings (Lucille, Mildred, Ralph, and Edward), and her parents (Steve & Rose, and Step-Mom, Margaret). Survived are many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Rosemary used to kid that she was the last oldest surviving cousin!) Rosemary concluded many of her conversations with saying: "God loves you, I love you, later."
