Michael Samuel Harris Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Michael Samuel Harris Age 49, of Bradford Woods, beloved husband, father, and son, died Monday, December 16, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 21, 1970, in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Lester C. and Mary Ann (Doyle) Harris. He was the loving husband of Linda S. (Duggan) Harris for 27 years; and the proud father of Marissa; and twin sons, Michael and Matthew. He was a 1989 graduate of North Allegheny Senior High School. He was employed as the maintenance manager at Waste Management. Michael loved the outdoors, spending time with his family, riding and racing dirt bikes, camping with friends in Michigan and Weedville, playing disc golf, shooting clay pigeons, working on cars, playing baseball with his sons, fishing, vacationing with his family and friends in Ocean City, country music, and sitting on the couch with his dog in his lap. He was goofy, witty, a free spirit, and an excellent mechanic who could fix everything. He would drop anything to help a friend or loved one in need. In addition to his wife, children, and mother, he is survived by his step-father, Jack Doyle; brothers, Matt and Mark (Cheryl) Harris; mother-in-law, Lois Duggan; sister-in-law, Tracey (Tom) Nevel; brother-in-law, Tom (Barb) Duggan; brothers, Les, Jim, and Tommy Harris; sister, Sally Hurst; uncle and aunt, Dan and Ethel Geyer; nieces, Meghan Duggan and Jennifer Nevel; nephew, Matthew Duggan; several cousins; and his dogs, Dozer, Koda, and Diesel. He will be deeply missed and cherished forever. We will walk proudly in his name. Per his wishes, friends and family are invited to a memorial service on January 4, 2020, from 1-5 p.m. at the Blueberry Hill Park Activity Center, 1604 Blaine's Way, Sewickley PA, 15143. Jeans, t-shirts, or camo attire only, as he would have wanted.
