John David Grace

February 7, 1935 - April 13, 2022

John David Grace of Pittsburgh, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the age of 87. Born on February 7, 1935 to the late Margaret and Frank G Grace of Fort Lauderdale. He was the beloved husband of Harold Lee Yoho, companions for over 60 years. Also survived by his brother, Lloyd (June) Grace of Concord MA, nieces Margaret Pippi of St Louis, Ann Graziani of Pittsburgh, Lynn Kaufman of San Diego, Joanne Grace of Anchorage, and nephews Thomas F Graziani of Pittsburgh and Frank P Grace of Littleton MA. He was proceeded in death by his sister, Betty G Graziani. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving aboard ship as an ASW helicopter sonar operator. He attended the Univ. of Pittsburgh. He joined the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral men and boy's choir at age nine and as an adult became the tenor soloist. David was a lover of animals, especially cats. He also raised rare birds. He will be fondly remembered for his kind heart and gentle spirit. The family suggests memorial gifts be sent to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
