James A. Eisengart Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James Eisengart James Eisengart, 55, of O'Hara Township, passed suddenly on Saturday, May 14, 2022. He was born April 18, 1967. Jim leaves behind his wife, Marilyn, and his two loving daughters, Megan and Katie. Beloved son of Nancy (Neumann) and the late George Eisengart. Jim is also survived by his brother, Bruce (Kitty) Eisengart, and his sister, Gwenn (Steve) Skalski; also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Jim is loved by many friends and family. Growing up, Jim lettered in multiple sports for four years before graduating from Fox Chapel Area High School in 1985. He then attended Lehigh University and graduated in 1989 as a member of the Zeta Psi fraternity. Jim was a member of Longue Vue Club where he was an avid golfer and paddle tennis player. He grew up visiting Canadohta Lake enjoying his summers there with family & friends. Once married, family trips to Bethany Beach and golf trips were two of his favorite pastimes. Playing golf at Augusta National Golf Club and Pine Valley Golf Club were highlights. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed reading, playing cards, and spending time with family & friends at various social gatherings. His love for sports throughout his life continued as he passionately coached his daughters in various activities. Jim had a warm personality, an infectious smile, and a kind heart that touched many lives. He will be tremendously missed by both family and friends. Friends will be received Friday, May 20, 2022 from 12-2 and 4-6 p.m. at the Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home & Crematory LTD, 930 Center Avenue, Blawnox, PA 15238 (412-828-5700). A memorial service will be held at the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church on Saturday May 21, 10 am visitation followed by Funeral service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VA Hospital, 1010 Delafield Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
