Erwin Brandl

March 22, 1938 - February 20, 2022

Erwin "Ed" Brandl, age 83 of New Kensington, passed Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, when his heart gave out. Ed will be remembered by his devoted wife of 29 years Lorriane H. (Sharick) Brandl, son David E. (Virginia) Sharick, grandchildren Diane C. Sharick, Adam E. Sharick, and Brittany N. Sharick, and his great-grandchildren Carter A. Roperti, Aleksander D. Sharick, and Anson D. Sharick. Ed will also be remembered by sister Margit Lambermont, brothers Mandi Brandl, John Blissell, Frank Blissell, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril and Anna Blissell. Ed was honorably discharged from the United States Army, and a friend to all who knew him. He retired from Style-Rite at the age of 83. Per his final wishes, no visitation or ceremony will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ed's name to Animal Protectors of Allegheny County.
