Edward (Eddie) Ferrebee with his wife by his side, went home to the Father on May 10, 2022 after a long illness . A resident of Plum Boro and loving husband and soul mate of 26+ years to Dee. They were married on 9/30/95 by Dee's childhood and Best Friend Susie. Eddie was gracious dad to daughters Heather (Chris) Ross of Kiski and Meghan (Matt) Briggs of Gibsonia. Eddie had 4 Grandchildren including His Special Little Buddy Camden, Reagan Bradley and Ryker. Brother in law to Darlene Harry and Karen Hagerman. Exceptional Son-in law to Cathy (Babe) and the late Harry Hagerman Sr. and special Uncle to Jay Hagerman. Eddie was born at home in Central Station County in the hills of West Virginia. He was Daddy to Jill (Dean) Jenkins and Jana (Bill) Ferrebee-Clark along with 3 Grandchildren Jenna, Katelynne and Emalee. He was predeceased in death by Julie his little angel Granddaughter, and his parents, Oriean and Dayda (Montgomery) Ferrebee. He was also a very special "Bubba" to Colleen of Kansas City. Eddie enjoyed many years of friendship with Rob and Nancy also of Kansas City. Rob served as the best man in our wedding. Eddie also had many childhood memories growing up in the hills of West Virginia with his cousins Stanley Brad Greg Rod Mike Lionel and Lynn Eddie was employed by Curtiss Wright EMD in Cheswick for 34+ years as a Precision Grinder for Navy Nuclear Contracts After retiring in April of 2004. His employment continued for 9+ years as the Delivery person for the local Bills Pharmacy in Plum Boro. He was also a 32nd degree Mason for over 50 years. Eddie and Dee explored many parts of the world together over their lifetime with loving memories that will be forever in her heart. From the Glaciers of Alaska to the Camel rides in the Canary Islands, through he Panama Canal vasting the Blue Lagoon in Iceland to taking a cog train up to the Swiss Alps, Germany and Austria through the Caribbean and cruising up the Eastern Seaboard for their 20th Anniversary. Eddie will be forever remembered as Mr. Fix it, especially for loving friends as Jeannette and Cyndi and the millions of laughs and fun times we shared with Paulette, Bob, Dianne and Frank. He was always seen with a Diet Coke and was the best Filet grill master there ever was. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone and was always there to help out when needed. His family would like to thank Ridgewood Concordia and their staff for the excellent and loving care given to Eddie for the past two years. Also, a special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice for the kindness and thoughtfulness in helping us on his journey home. Per Ed's request, there will be no viewing. A funeral mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church in Plum Boro on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10:30 am. There will not be a formal gathering after the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh, 2211 Lesnett Rd. Pgh., PA 15241 in Eddie's memory.
