Charles E. Facemire

August 27, 1932 - October 6, 2020

Charles E. "Charlie" Facemire Age 88, of West View, on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie J (Karanzas) Facemire; loving father of Carolyn Ley, Shelley Yaras (Matt), Dana Gaertner (Jeff), Leslie Sprague (Jack); son of the late Lula Armstrong; brother Renzil (Joyce) and the late Richard; devoted Pappy of Tara and Adam Ley, Justin and Devin Yaras, Alyssa and Jared Gaertner, Katrina and Gavin Sprague; survived by sisters-in-law, Delores, Rose, and Joan; many nieces and nephews. Charlie served as a Specialist in the US Army Security Agency Signal Corp during the Korean War and was a dedicated Postal employee for 30+ years. He enjoyed time with family especially his grandchildren and looked forward to seeing his bingo ladies Monday nights. He was a kind and gentle soul with a bright smile who always gave the benefit of the doubt and was always willing to help all who needed it. The world will not be the same without Charlie in it.
