Carol Salyers

February 6, 1950 - January 23, 2022

Carol W. (Wilhelm) Salyers, age 71, of Allegheny Township passed Sunday, January 23, 2022. Carol was an artist, art teacher, herbalist, gardener, cook, yoga instructor, set designer, member of the Allegheny Township Historical Society, and a very active member of Pine Run Presbyterian Church. Her favorite "job" was that of wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. Most important to Carol is her faith in Jesus Christ through whom she lives now resurrected with all who believe in him. She always hoped for everyone she loves to trust in Jesus also, so we can all enjoy eternity together with her in His light. Carol will be remembered by her adoring children Carol McKain, MSGT Thomas H. (Jennifer) Salyers, and Rev. James (Anna) Salyers, cherished grandchildren Elizabeth (David) Seese, Adriana Gunter, Colin Hilyard, Madilyn McKain, Liam Seese, Rylee McKain, Colton McKain, James D. Salyers, Autumn Salyers, Jack Salyers, Elias Salyers, and James D. Salyers. Carol is preceded in death by her devoted husband Edward F. Salyers and her loving parents Gladys Mae (Straub) & Le G. Wilhelm of Shaler. A memorial service will be held at Pine Run Presbyterian Church, 1117 White Cloud Road, Apollo Pennsylvania 15613, on April 24, 2022, at 3:00 pm.
