Kathleen Erdner

Kathleen Patricia (Sullivan) Erdner of Harrisville, PA passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sept 18, 2023 at the age of 77. She was the daughter of Edward and Eleanor Sullivan, who preceded her in death as did a brother, Edward Sullivan Jr and a sister, Sharon Malone. Kathy dedicated herself to the Lord at a young age and served at the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill before marrying the love of her life John Clifford Erdner. She poured her heart into raising their three boys and making their house a home. She worked at Chubb Insurance for almost 25 years while residing in Aspinwall. After retirement in 2005, she and Cliff moved to a new home in Harrisville. All who met Kathy were touched by her kindness, struck by her selflessness and inspired by her courage and strength. She greeted everyone with a warm smile and amazing hospitality. You could find her in the kitchen trying new recipes, or in her craft room creating lovely greeting cards, as she made a point to remember birthdays and special occasions. Her most treasured moments centered around her family and lifelong friends, as well as donating her crochet talents to the Make a Difference Knitting and Crochet Group for charity. She is survived by her husband Cliff, three sons, Kenneth (Ann) Erdner of Natrona Heights, Curtis (Sonny) Erdner of McKees Rocks, and Kevin (Helen) Erdner, parents of Kathy & Cliff's precious grandchildren Greta & Graham, and guardians of grandpup Filbert. She is also survived by four younger sisters Linda (Rick) Kristofik, Shirley (Dave) Bobek, Sue (Bill) Henn, and Diane Kane (David Briner), as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Kathy left behind a message for all of her precious loved ones nestled in the lyrics of a favorite hymn "All I Ask of You is Forever to Remember Me As Loving You" There will be two separate services, one Sept 30 at 10 AM at the Scholastica Church in Aspinwall. A time to congregate will be announced afterward. The second service will be Oct 7 at 10 AM at Harmony Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Harrisville with light refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
