Fritzy M. Ezzeddine

Fritzy Ezzeddine, 59, of Buena Vista, PA, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on September 13, 2024, after a rapid progression of cancer. Born in Valencia, PA, she was a beacon of love and vitality. Fritzy was the cherished mother of Alan H. Ezzeddine (Hannah), Alex F. Ezzeddine, and Sabrina J. Ezzeddine (Tani), and a devoted grandmother to Henry A. Ezzeddine and Abigail H. Ezzeddine. She was a loving daughter to the late Joanne Titus Jamison and the late Frederick W. Jamison, and a beloved sister to Cynthia L. (Daniel) Barnes, the late Joanne B. Foringer, and the late Fred P. Jamison. A proud graduate of Mars High School, Class of '83, Fritzy earned a certificate in computer information systems and passed the Series 7 - General Securities Representative Exam. She spent a fulfilling decade as a Client Account Administrator at Greycourt & Co., Inc. Diagnosed with Stage 4 Urothelial Cancer in November 2023, Fritzy faced her illness with remarkable courage and resilience. Despite the devastating news, she fought fiercely, often refusing pain medications to stay engaged in life and her passions. Even in her last 10 months, she embraced life fully-traveling to Disney World, Tybee Island, and Atlantic City; attending movies; dining out; playing board games; solving puzzles; bowling; and exploring local attractions. A lover of the water, Fritzy dreamed of living by it. While she never moved out of state, she found joy in her cozy house on the Youghiogheny River, where she enjoyed tubing and kayaking until her illness made it too difficult. Her adventurous spirit led her to Spain, Lebanon, Greece, Morocco, Albania, England, Canada, the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, and across the U.S. Fritzy's profound love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren, was evident in everything she did. She was a passionate and selfless mother and grandmother, dedicating her life to their happiness. In her final week, despite losing her ability to speak, see, and move, she showed her enduring love by managing to open her eyes and mouth the word aw at her granddaughter, Abigail. As we say goodbye to Fritzy, we remember her exuberant spirit, her boundless love for life, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. We will cherish our family moments, the small joys of life, and strive to honor her legacy by seizing every moment with the same fervor she showed. Friends will be received on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home, 500 Greenfield Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15207. Celebration of Life will take place at 7:30 p.m. Rest in peace, Mom. We love you so much.
