Charlotte Ann Vulakovich Sunday, October 1, 2023, the world lost the reigning queen of family, friendships, and laughter. Charlotte Ann Vulakovich, age 64, of Etna, daughter of the late Edythe "Snookie" and Charles "Coke" Vulakovich, passed away peacefully, surrounded by those most dear to her. Charlotte, true to her style, left this earthly realm on her own terms, and we have no doubt she's up there making Heaven a whole lot more amusing. Charlotte, affectionately known as Char, had a great love for the beach, where she conquered the sands alongside her family and closest friends. As a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, she'll probably be giving the referees a piece of her mind from the comfort of her heavenly seat, ensuring fair play from the heavens above. With a smile as warm as the sun, Char was the chief architect of joy in her circle. We suspect she's already swapping jokes with those she loved who arrived before her and turning heaven into a prank-fest. Char, a true hospitality hero, had a rare gift for making people feel welcome. In true superwoman form, she wielded the powers of warmth and kindness. Char had the unique ability of transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. Char's grandchildren were not only her pride and joy; they were also her partners in crime. Char was infamous for covert ops at their schools, expertly extracting them for surprise lunch adventures. Even as her health declined, Char remained a steadfast cheerleader for her grandson Vinny and the Shaler football team. Char's home was always the chosen hang-out spot for her grandchildren and their friends because she was the coolest Grandma. Her legacy serves as a profound lesson in the significance of love and strength embedded in family. Char is survived by her daughters, Christine (Jay) Foster, Tomica Jones (Recko Coates), and Nicole Brundage; grandchildren; Lachelle, Brandon, Vinny, Maddie, C.J., and Cymirah; great grandson, Kaison; brothers, Charles and John Vulakovich; sister-in-law, Jen Chapin; honorary sisters, Maryanne, Tracy, and Melissa; nieces, nephew, and a host of other relatives and friends. Char was preceded in death by her sister Diane Vulakovich, and honorary sister Karen "KJ". Join us in toasting a life well-lived, brimming with joy and laughter that will forever linger in our hearts, on Sunday, October 29th, 2023, as the Steelers take on the Jaguars.
